デュアルディスプレイ設定 - サーバー技術メモ

iMACを買って17インチのディスプレイが使われなくなったので、ノートにデュアルとして設定。
X40の小さな画面ひとつと比べると作業効率が全然違います。ワークスペース切替えではけっこう苦しい。。

一応、/etc/X11/xorg.confを晒しておきます。
ThinkPad X40 に I-O DATA の LCD-AD174GW です。

まだ完全に動きが読めてないんだけど、
ディスプレイコネクタを繋いだまま起動すると、接続先のモニターでブート表示されてしまいx起動が失敗する。
ひげぽんさんも言ってるけどコネクタ繋いでいないとあっち側にgターミナルが立ち上がる。
ノートを閉じて開いた時にノート側のモニターが表示されない。サスペンド関係かな。。
いくつか問題はあるけど、デュアルディスプレイにしてかなり作業しやすくなりました。
